Eric Bischoff became the new owner of DCW when WCW defeated DCW in a Winner Take All pay per view event called WCW vs. DCW: "Survivor Series 4: The Invasion Ends," which took place at the Civic Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on Friday, September 12th, 2025.
After Bischoff gained full ownership of DCW, within 24 hours he announced that DCW would now be rebranded as WCW, and then he fired all of the DCW wrestlers from the company. He also stated that all DCW Championships would be rebranded as WCW Championships moving forward. Later in the week, he announced the new WCW "Roster" for Season 5, which will be taking place in 2026. It was also announced that the WCW will be replacing DCW's television shows. Eric Bischoff vowed to kill DCW and now he has done it!
Now today, on Saturday, September 20th, 2025, Eric Bischoff would like to take this opportunity to announce the new website for the WCW brand, which can be found at https://WCWFantasyLeague.com. However, you can still access the website through https://DCWFantasyLeague.Blogspot.com if you prefer. Both web addresses will remain fully operational.
At this time, WCW will be moving into its offseason, and we will see you next year
in 2026 when we present Season 5. Thank you very much for visiting our website!
WCW Owner,
Eric Bischoff

WCW Steals DCW's Television Deal
DCW's television deal with Spike TV has now become very complicated due to WCW defeating DCW at WCW vs. DCW: "Survivor Series 4: The Invasion Ends," which now gives 100% ownership of DCW to Eric Bischoff. Now Eric Bischoff has taken everything a step further and has rebranded DCW as WCW. Moving forward, because of the contract DCW has with Spike TV, the new WCW shows will be replacing DCW on Spike TV. Since DCW is still under contract with Spike TV, all TV listings will now be listed as DCW WCW on the TV Guide Channel and all other television listings, both internally and externally until the DCW contract with Spike TV expires on December 31st, 2026. DCW Raw will be rebranded as WCW Nitro beginning in 2026 and DCW Smackdown will be rebranded as WCW Thunder beginning in 2026 as well. The new TV listings will simply be listed at DCW WCW, and this will be the layout for the WCW Thunder show as well. This is the update for now concerning the new WCW television show listings.
Ryu Hayabusa Convicted on Charges of Illegal Distribution of Steroids; Receives 5 Year Prison Term
Ryu Hayabusa's Steroid Investigation News Articles:
7.13.2025 - Ryu Hayabusa Steroid Trial Date Set for Thursday, September 18th, 2025;
Dr. George Zahorian Sentenced To 3 Year Prison Term
6.13.2025 - Ryu Hayabusa Under Government Investigation for Illegal Steroid Distribution
Former DCW Owner Ryu Hayabusa has been under an incredible amount of stress for the entire summer of 2025 resulting from a government investigation for distributing illegal steroids to his wrestlers. On top of that stress, he has a lot of extra stress as he has been dealing with Eric Bischoff and the WCW Invasion.
On June 13th, 2025, it was officially announced that there is now a government investigation taking place against the now former DCW Owner Ryu Hayabusa for illegal distribution of steroids to his performers.
Then, on July 13th, 2025, a steroid trial date was set for Thursday, September 18th, 2025. Also, in that news article it was revealed that the doctor who was distributing illegal steroids, Dr. George Zahorian, received a 3 year prison term during his steroid trial.
Yesterday, Ryu Hayabusa appeared in court for his steroid trial on Thursday, September 18th, 2025. Many wrestlers spoke at the trial, including Dismembered, Goldberg, Insanity, Timmy 2-Tone, and Hollywood Hogan. Everything went fine until Hollywood Hogan took the stand, and Hogan was the final nail in the coffin for Ryu Hayabusa. Hogan showed CCTV video footage of Ryu Hayabusa having a talent meeting backstage before the "Wrestlemania III" pay per view Event where Hayabusa was encouraging wrestlers to take steroids so that they would look better on television, and Hayabusa also alluded to the fact that he had a distributor (Dr. George Zahorian) if anyone was interested.
When the verdict came back, Ryu Hayabusa was sentenced to 5 years in prison for illegal distribution of steroids. The reason Ryu Hayabusa got more time in prison was because he was the mastermind of this entire operation, and he encouraged many of his performs to participate in these illegal activities.
This spells a very terrible year for the former DCW Owner, Ryu Hayabusa. Days ago, Ryu Hayabusa just lost his wrestling company, DCW, to Eric Bischoff by losing to WCW at the WCW vs. DCW: "Survivor Series 4: The Invasion Ends", which had the winners of the event gaining ownership of either the opposing company. Now Ryu Hayabusa is going to remain behind bars until the year 2030.

Twitch Defeats Sting AGAIN at WCW vs. DCW: "Survivor Series 4: The Invasion Ends"
This feud all started when Twitch defeated Commissioner Penska for control of DCW at "Wrestlemania III". Then, the following night, Twitch gave control of DCW to his close friend, Eric Bischoff. However, the big shocker was when Eric Bischoff immediately fired Twitch live on RAW. Then, Eric Bischoff hired Sting as Twitch's replacement. Twitch ended up appearing in the 12 Man Elimination "Royal Rumble 4" Match, and Twitch went right after Sting. However, Sting eliminated Twitch with a Scorpion Death Drop.
Then, Sting and Twitch faced off again at WCW vs. DCW: "Wrestlemania 4: The Invasion Continues." Twitch defeated Sting after hitting Sting with a Scorpion Death Drop followed by a Frogsplash from the top rope.
Now it's time for this feud to end at WCW vs. DCW: "Survivor Series 4: The Invasion Ends." Twitch hits Sting with an arm drag takedown and then hits Sting with 2 backdrops at 0:14, but by 0:35 Sting slams Twitch's face into the cage. Later on, Twitch hits Sting with a Scorpion Death Drop at 2:48. Minutes later the momentum changed, and Sting hit Twitch with a Scorpion Death Drop, and Twitch nearly tapped out to Sting's Scorpion Deathlock. However, at the 7:25 mark, Twitch hits Sting with a Tornado DDT. Then, Twitch nails Sting with a Scorpion Death Drop followed up by a top rope Frogsplash, just like at "Wrestlemania 4." Twitch climbs up the side of the cage, and Sting tries to shake Twitch off of the cage, but Sting is too late. Twitch drops to the floor and defeats Sting at 7:58 at "Survivor Series 4."
WINNER: TWITCH

Chris Jericho Wins Intercontinental Championship at "Survivor Series 4"; Raven Screws Vengeance! TRIPLE H DEBUTS!
The WCW traitor Chris Jericho comes to the ring first at WCW vs. DCW: "Survivor Series 4: The Invasion Ends." Next, the DCW Intercontinental Champion Vengeance made his way to the ring.
The match starts off slow because Chris Jericho keeps running out of the ring. Finally, Vengeance hits Jericho with a running DDT at 1:49. Vengeance went for the cover, but Jericho kicked out at 2. Later, Chris Jericho got Vengeance locked up in a reverse armbar at 3:43, but Vengeance grabbed the ropes, which forced Jericho to release the hold. By 5:33, Raven comes down to the ring and attacks Vengeance. At this point, Raven and Jericho started double teaming Vengeance until Triple H came to help Vengeance at 7:34. Triple H immediately hits Raven with a Pedigree, but when Triple H turns around, he is hit in the head with a steel chair by Chris Jericho. Finally, Raven gets up and hits Vengeance with an Evenflow DDT, and then Chris Jericho covered him for the victory at 9:53
