DCW, also known as Deranged Championship Wrestling, began as a backyard wrestling organization back on May 12th, 2000. The original DCW website, along with all of the available video footage that we currently have, can be found by visiting https://DCWWrestling.com.
DCW was built comprised of wrestlers from Razor's Edge Wrestling, as well as talent from Battle Front Wrestling, which were both located in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. The company officially ended during DCW: Season 2, which took place in 2001. Many injuries were occurring, and DCW was forced to relocate to other locations, which made doing live events very difficult.
Fast forward to the year 2022, and DCW made its return as an online fantasy league. The DCW Fantasy League had been going very well for a number of years until the WCW & Eric Bischoff slowly started to make their intentions known during DCW: "Season 3." This tension building up would lead to an all out war between the two rival promotions which finally erupted during DCW: "Season 4," which ended up resulting in WCW Owner Eric Bischoff gaining full ownership over DCW after winning the Winner Take All Event at WCW vs. DCW: "Survivor Series 4: The Invasion Ends." Once Bischoff gained ownership of DCW, he fired all DCW wrestlers within 24 hours and rebranded DCW as WCW. After that, WCW was able to steal DCW's television deal, and unfortunately, former DCW Owner Ryu Hayabusa has been sentenced to spend 5 years in prison on charges of illegal steroid distribution. Lastly, Eric Bischoff has taken over the DCW website and relaunched it at https://WCWFantasyLeague.com. The new era of WCW will begin in 2026! Stay tuned!!

Blaze became the first DCW World Heavyweight Champion at DCW: "No Mercy 1" back on August 21st, 2022. The DCW World Tag Team Championships were introduced at DCW: "Wrestlemania 1"
on September 18th, 2022, where Dark Astray members Richter Von Trash
& Halloween Jack went on to defeat Chris Benoit & Tazz. Richter Von Trash & Halloween Jack would go on to
have an extremely long and impressive 2 year and 1 month run holding the DCW World Tag Team Championships. The DCW World Tag Team Championships has also been
held by other great
wrestling teams such as: The Outsiders, The Black Hearts, & The Twin

The DCW Intercontinental Championship was introduced at DCW: "Wrestlemania 2" on July 9th, 2023, where the Violator faced off against the Overtaker in the tournament finals. Violator went on to become the first ever DCW Intercontinental Champion. The DCW Intercontinental Championship has also been held by other great

All DCW Championships were rebranded as WCW Championships when WCW defeated DCW in a Winner Take All event at WCW vs. DCW: "Survivor Series 4: The Invasion Ends."
