"Survivor Series" Archive

So, once again, we see Commissioner Penska has stacked the deck against DCW World Heavyweight Champion Twitch as she has placed Twitch into a Triple Threat Match against Timmy 2-Tone & Mark Henry. However, her plan didn't work as Twitch retained his DCW World Heavyweight Championship at DCW: "Survivor Series 2" by doing a school boy rollup to Timmy 2-Tone. Twitch won the match in 15 minutes, 26 seconds. Apparently, Commissioner Penska has some kind of secret vendetta against Twitch. DCW owner Ryu Hayabusa has said that, in time, he will reveal her secret.

Twitch has held the DCW World Heavyweight Championship since September 2022. CONGRATULATIONS TO TWITCH ON ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL WORLD TITLE DEFENSE!

Richter Von Trash & Halloween Jack Retain World Tag Team Championships at DCW: "Survivor Series 2"

"Survivor Series" Archive

DCW Owner, Ryu Hayabusa, worked out a deal with ECW Owner, Paul Heyman, to allow the ECW World Tag Team Champions, The Dudley Boys, to come and compete at DCW: "Survivor Series 2".

The Dudley Boys nearly won the DCW World Tag Team Championships from Richter Von Trash and Halloween Jack. This was a very crazy, hard-core match. Richter Von Trash finally ended up hitting Devon Dudley with his Doomsday Reverse DDT finishing maneuver, getting the pinfall victory at 10 minutes, 35 seconds. Richter Von Trash and Halloween Jack have now held the DCW World Tag Team Championships since September 18th, 2022 where they won the championships at DCW: "Wrestlemania 1" defeating Chris Benoit & Tazz.

DCW and ECW have now had a working relationship together for some time. Many DCW wrestlers have also competed in ECW during DCW's off-seasons. We would like to thank ECW owner Paul Heyman for this talent exchange. We look forward to doing more business with ECW in the future. Watch the full match below!

All Future "King of The Ring" Pay Per View Events Cancelled

Some of the fans were sending in their questions, asking why the King of the Ring Tournament was done on a "Survivor Series" pay-per-view instead of the "King of the Ring" pay-per-view. The reason is that DCW is now scaling back on its pay per view. During DCW: "Season 1" we did 8 pay per view, and that was extremely difficult to pull off. It was far too time-consuming. So, moving forward, we will be doing 4 pay-per-view events per year, and each pay-per-view will be 1 hour in length. In making the decision to only do 4 pay-per-view "Events" per year, we have had to make the very difficult decision to cancel the following pay-per-views: "King of the Ring", "Backlash""No Mercy",  and "Armageddon".

Moving forward, DCW will only feature four pay-per-view "Events" per year, which will include "Royal Rumble", "Summerslam", "Wrestlemania", and "Survivor Series". The King of the Ring Tournament will now be featured as a part of our yearly "Survivor Series" pay-per-view event going forward.

"Survivor Series" Archive

As backstage issues continue to arise, Commissioner Penska has decided to once again defy the authority of DCW owner Ryu Hayabusa. This time Commissioner Penska has decided to hire the nWo wrestling faction consisting of Hollywood Hogan, Scott Hall, and Kevin Nash. They will be making their DCW in-ring debut at the first pay-per-view of DCW Season 3, which will be called DCW: "Royal Rumble 3" taking place on June 23rd, 2024.

DCW owner Ryu Hayabusa has openly said that he is very angry at Commissioner Penska. On our last pay-per-view "Event" called DCW: "Survivor Series 2" he said, "I'm done being a nice guy. I've given Commissioner Penksa several chances to stop throwing her power around, and she hasn't listened to me or shown me any respect. At DCW: "Wrestlemania 3" Commissioner Penska will be in for the challenge of her life."

So, it looks like we will have some very exciting months going forward with all of this backstage DCW drama that's going on as well as the debut of the nWo.
