This comes as very shocking news that DCW Owner Ryu Hayabusa is now under a government investigation for illegal steroid distribution to some of his performers here at Deranged Championship Wrestling. At the end of December 2024, Dr. George Zahorian's office was robbed and ransacked. Many medications went missing from his office along with countless documents. Prior to leaving the doctor's office, the perpetrators set the building on fire. This was all captured on CCTV footage. This prompted a call to 911 by witnesses. Upon examination of the fire, police on the scene found documents for prescriptions for illegal steroids for many of the DCW wrestlers, such as Blaze, Chris Jericho, Dismembered, Goldberg, Hollywood Hogan, Insanity, Kurt Angle, & Timmy 2-Tone.
When Dr. George Zahorian was taken into police custody for questioning along with some of the DCW wrestlers. They all pretty much told the same story, which was that DCW Owner Ryu Hayabusa encouraged all of the DCW wrestlers to take performance enhancing drugs so that they would look their very best on television. If that wasn't bad enough, Ryu Hayabusa even had Dr. George Zahorian writing prescriptions for his wrestlers as often as they would like. Apparently, Dr. George Zahorian has been receiving huge monthly payments from Ryu Hayabusa dating back to May 2023, which was soon after Ryu Hayabusa purchased and took over DCW.
Government investigators have stated that a trial date will be announced sometime in July 2025.
