Eric Bischoff Challenges Vince McMahon at "Royal Rumble 5"

Earlier in the week night on WCW Monday Night Nitro, Eric Bischoff made his way to the ring to deliever what he said will be a shocking speech that change the entire wrestling industry! Eric Bischoff grabs the microphone and begins his speech.

"Ladies & gentlemen, welcome back to World Championship Wrestling and welcome back to everyone watching at home on Spike TV. WCW has been in its offseason now for several months and the entire time I have felt just like many of the wrestlers have felt. We miss competition. We totally kicked DCW's ass and put them out of business and, well yeah, that was a hell of a lot of fun, but then there also comes a time when you have to ask yourself is that really enough? Can we go bigger? Can our company go higher? I say hell yes we can go higher and that's what this speech is all about here tonight. Because I and some of the wrestlers in the back have been talking for months about going after a new challenge. 

We've been talking about going after the...WWF!!! We've been talking about going after VINCE MCMAHON!! I often wonder what would happen if I got up in the face of Vince McMahon? Would he have the balls to fight me? WCW has been kicking his company's ass in the ratings for years now. What are ya gonna to do about it, Vinnie Mac? How about this Vince? I want to lay out a challenge for you and your boys. Vince, I'm going to pick a number and enter this year's 24 Man Elimination Royal Rumble 5 Match and here's what I'm thinking. If you have the balls to show up, no matter what number I pick, you can be the entrant that enters right after me. I will kick your ass, Vince McMahon! I want to kick your ass live on pay per view in front of the entire world!! Maybe you're scared of coming to WCW all alone? Well, then I will also give 4 of your wrestlers the opportunity to take part in the 24 Man Elimination Royal Rumble 5 match. Vince McMahon, I'M CALLING YOU OUT! Will you face me or be a total coward? I guess we're all gonna find out at WCW: "Royal Rumble 5"! 

The crowd cheers in excitement. Then, Eric Bischoff walks to the back.
