Plan B DESTROYS Triple H at WCW: "Summerslam 5"

Now we're going to take a look at some of the highlights from WCW: "Summerslam 5", where the WCW World Tag Team Champions Plan B (Chris Jericho & Kurt Angle) defended their championships against WWF wrestler Triple H in a handicapped match.

This feud began back on Friday, September 12th, 2025 at WCW vs. DCW: "Survivor Series 4: The Invasion Ends," during the Intercontinental Championship Match between Vengeance and Chris Jericho. Raven came out to help Jericho beat up Vengeance because it was really looking like Vengeance was going to defeat Jericho. After minutes of Jericho and Raven double teaming Vengeance, Triple H made his debut and attacked Raven with a Pedigree. Then, when Triple H got back to his feet he got hit in the head with a steel chair from Chris Jericho.

8 months later at WCW: "Royal Rumble 5", Triple H gave Chris Jericho a Pedigree which resulted in Mr. Perfect drop kicking Chris Jericho over the top rope during the Royal Rumble 5 Elimination Match. So, Chris Jericho has been furious ever since about it.

Then, after the "Royal Rumble 5" event, Kurt Angle complained about WWF wrestlers Triple H and Brock Lesnar interfering in the "Royal Rumble 5" World Championship Match between Goldberg and Big Poppa Pump Scott Steiner. Kurt Angle said if Triple H ever got into the ring with him, he would totally destroy him.

So, Kurt Angle and Chris Jericho ended up challenging Triple H to a WCW World Tag Team Championship Match at WCW: "Summerslam 5." Triple H accepted the challenge, which led to tonight's match.

The match began with Kurt Angle laying out Triple H with vicious shot to the head with a sledgehammer. After that, Chris Jericho put Triple H in the Walls of Jericho submission hold. Triple H was unconscious from the hit to his head with the sledgehammer so the referee stopped the match and gave the victory to Plan B.

After the match, Plan B took Triple H backstage and smashed his head through a car window.
Triple H was left bloody and unconscious in the parking lot.
