The WCW Intercontinental Champion Macho Man Randy Savage defended
his championship against Ricky The Dragon Steamboat earlier tonight at
WCW: "Summerslam 5." Now let's take a look at the match highlights.
The match started off very slow because Macho Man was using many delay tactics,
but at the 0:30 mark, Macho Man hit a suplex on Ricky The Dragon Steamboat. Macho Man picked up Steamboat and threw him into the ropes, but
Steamboat was able to hit a swinging neck breaker on the Macho Man.
These 2 amazing athletes had a very competitive, fast paced match with
many near falls for several minutes. Eventually, Macho Man, hit his
finishing move the top rope elbow drop on Ricky Steamboat
at 12:10, but Macho Man didn't go for the pinfall. Steamboat then got Macho Man into a small package rollup, but Macho Man was able to
kick out at 2. Macho Man then got up and drop kicked Steamboat. Next, Macho Man, hit his finishing move, The Elbow Drop, from the top rope again at 12:51. Macho Man
then got the pinball victory at 12:57.
